Knowledge has been described as a critical competitive asset of organizations, strategic for their competitive advantage. The second International Conference on Knowledge Management in Organizations (KMO) aims at providing an international forum to present and discuss research streams focused on information and knowledge management issues, as well as to shed light on recent advances knowledge management systems for organizations.

The scientific objective of the conference is to identify challenging problems for the development of future knowledge management systems, as well as to identify future directions of research and focusing on closer link between academia and industries. A closer collaboration between academia and industries will provide an effective way of implementing knowledge management systems that meet the needs of organizations.

This conference calls for papers that offer provocative, insightful, and novel ways of viewing knowledge management (KM) from a wide variety of perspectives.

Industrial Experience Track

As a part of KMO 2007, the track "Industrial Application on Knowledge Management" (IAKM) will be a forum for high quality presentations on innovative applications and engineering solutions of Knowledge Management and Collaborative Environments in Organizations.

Papers should describe actual solutions in all the information and knowledge management areas addressed by this track.
